ICPR 2022 FAQ
ONLINE ATTENDANCE
We only send emails to the addresses recorded in the order during the purchase. So if you have bought tickets for others, please forward our emails to them and if others have bought tickets for you please ask them to forward our emails to you.

All in-person and livestream ticket holders are able to access the livestream through the links available on our event/communitiy platform.
It’s possible that you paid for a PSEB Livestream ticket which is for the 21st and does NOT grant access to ICPR Livestream for that you you need to register separately
You will receive an email with a link to sign up for our community platform where you’ll be able to access the sessions live. Please note the 3rd stage (Wasson Room) will not be streamed live. However, all sessions will be recorded and made available for 3 months after the conference as part of the OPEN membership included with your livestream ticket.
Yes! This will require an OPEN Membership, a trial of which is included with all in-person and livestream ICPR tickets!
PRACTICAL DETAILS
No. If you only have a ticket for the PSEB event on the 21st of September, you will not be able to access the main conference on 22nd to 24th unless you also have an ICPR ticket. PSEB is a pre-conference event of its own. ICPR 2022 is the main conference with its own tickets (which are now fully sold out but there’s a waiting list on the tickets page).
ICPR 2022 will take place from 9am on Thursday, September 22nd until 5pm on Saturday, September 24th.
Our standalone ICPR Science, Ethics and Business Event, as well as our pre-conference workshops will take place on Wednesday the 21st of September.
ICPR 2022 will be held at the prestigious Philharmonie Haarlem (30 minutes west of Amsterdam Central Station):

You can find the Philharmonie Haarlem on Google Maps, or on our venue page.
The nearest airport is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The most sustainable option after you land, is a train to Haarlem, for which you have to transfer at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Plan your train trip on the website of the national railroad NS.
If you choose to stay in Amsterdam or another city in the Netherlands, there are ample connections to Haarlem station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Philharmonie. Taxi’s and bikes are available at the station.
Uber is available in Amsterdam and Haarlem. Shared mobility is available through Felyx, GO and ShareNow.
Travel is not included in the conference fee.
Haarlem is a beautiful city and well worth a multiple day visit. It is also a slightly more economical choice when it comes to lodging compared to Amsterdam.
If you choose to lay your head in Amsterdam, please be advised that it might be convenient to choose a place close to a metro line or within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station or Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station.

The total discount is thus 15%, but the 10% is standard.
The working language of the conference is English. In case of a possible exception, simultaneous translation will not be offered.
REGISTRATION AND FEES
The standard ticket pricing for ICPR 2022 is as follows:
All tickets include full access to the ICPR 2022 in-person event and all recorded content as well as food and beverages, coffee, tea, fruits, snacks, water plus a healthy vegetarian, mainly organic lunch!
- Professional Ticket: €999 (must register with your institution/organisation email)
- Business Ticket: €1199 (includes access to exclusive business event)
- Regular Ticket: €699
- Philanthropy Ticket: €1499 (includes access to speaker’s dinner)
- Student ticket: €399 (must register with your student email address)
- Livestream Ticket: €159 (virtual access to the conference via livestream and recordings)

Our livestream ticket includes virtual access to ICPR 2022 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and includes:

Livestreamed talks will be hosted via our community platform, to which you will recieve access via email upon succesfull registration of your livestream ticket. Livestream ticket registration is done on our ticket page here.
Early Bird ticket sales ended on March 30th. Early bird Livestream ticket sales ended on August 31st.
Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The earlier you purchase, the more chance you have in locking in the lowest price. If COVID or other safety measures force us to lower the maximum amount of attendees (currently 1000) – then access will also be in the order of when tickets were bought.
Group rates are available for members of institutions and organisations. Please get in touch via our contact page.
Students currently enrolled in any official college or university are eligible for ICPR 2022 Student Ticket. Furthermore, those who attended an official college or university within the last 12 months from the date of purchase can get in on the deal only if they’re not currently employed. You must register with your official student email address and your student ID/proof will be checked before entering the conference. Those unable to prove student status will be charged the ticket difference at the door.
Doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists and other working professionals who are part of a (non-profit or for-profit) institution/organisation and eligible to receive full or partial reimbursement. You must register with your official institution/organisation email address.
Currently tickets are only available for the full length of the conference, three days. If capacity allows, day passes may be offered. Subscibe to our newsletter to be kept up to date.
Yes, a certificate of participation will be made available a few days after the conference.
Tickets at full price will be available until the last day of the conference. There is a possibility day tickets will also be offered. More information to follow.
Avid followers of the OPEN Foundation on social media and its newsletter will have access to early and recurring discounts. We are also offering exclusive discounts to our partners and their communities.
The OPEN Foundation offers scholarship tickets to those who have limited means to attend. Scholarships are intended for anyone (not just students) who wishes to attend but is genuinely not able to afford our standard pricing. Those qualified for a scholarship ticket will receive a discounted ticket price of €99, and those eligible for a partial aid may receive a different discount. A badge and a programme will be handed when you arrive on site after we confirm your registration. Your badge will give you access to multiple stages at the Philharmonie which will host more than 60 speakers.

Yes, food and beverages are included with your ticket! To ensure you’ll get the most out of your presence at the conference, we’re including meals so you don’t have to run outside for that and can stay in and connect with others over a delicious meal. Coffee, tea, fruits, snacks, water throughout the day and a healthy, vegetarian, mainly organic lunch!
Once you complete your purchase on this website, you will receive an email with your registration. This email contains a confirmation of your registration as well as your ticket. At the conference, once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a badge that will grant you access to the halls of the conference.
You can transfer your ticket to someone else up to 30 days before the conference.
We have a no-refund policy. You can decide to transfer your ticket to someone else (at least 30 days prior to the conference) or donate your ticket to our cause and organisation. The OPEN Foundation has been a non-profit organisation since its formation in 2007, and relies on the conferences for income. Your support can help us cover losses on flights, accommodation, and other expenses.
If, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ICPR is forced to become an online event, the difference between the ticket price will be refunded to ticket holders.
If the conference is sold out and there’s a waiting list, you can request a refund by replying to support@open-foundation.org from your ticket email. Refunds are not guaranteed but we will do out best to help.
ACADEMIA
Unfortunately, the deadline to submit an abstract has already ended. Still, we encourage potential speakers to submit their abstracts by sending an email to abstracts@open-foundation.org and our programming team will look into them. Thank you!
We are no longer accepting posters for poster presentations. Deadline for submission was June 1st, 2022.

No. While ICPR is open to all, the conference does not facilitate commercial exhibitions and focuses on academic perspectives on psychedelic research. That said, we are offering limited exhibition opprotunities to our official partners, please reach out to us via the link at the bottom of our partners page if you are interested in learning more.
GENERAL
The Philharmonie is wheelchair accessible. All meals are vegetarian. We offer 50% off tickets for assistance for example helping with wheelchair. Please get in touch via our contact page.
There is no dress code for the event. We ourselves wear whatever we would wear at an academic conference.

We’re working on this as well as an official afterparty. Details will be announced to ticket holders.
ICPR attracts significant interest from journalists and filmmakers. The OPEN Foundation also shoots video and pictures of the event for educational and promotional purposes. By entering the event premises and by participation in this event, you consent to the use of your photograph, likeness, or video or audio recording in whole or in part without restriction or limitation for any educational, promotional, or any purpose for distribution online and in printed publications or publication in other media.
You release the OPEN Foundation, their employees and volunteers, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitisation, or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, or video and/or sound recordings.
We are however happy to remove your image from any digital property over which we have control upon your request.

COVID-19
If, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ICPR is forced to become an online event, the difference between the ticket price will be refunded to ticket holders.
If the event size must be reduced because of COVID-19 related measures, attendees will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. So secure your spot by locking in your ticket now!
