Speaker Bio
Eddie Jacobs is a DPhil student at the University of Oxford’s Department of Psychiatry, where he is undertaking Wellcome Trust-funded research on the bioethical dimensions of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. During his graduate research, he has led the drafting and development of the Hopkins-Oxford Psychedelic Ethics (HOPE) Consensus Statement, as well as publishing in Neuroethics and The American Journal of Bioethics.
He has previously worked at the Beckley Foundation, supporting its Psychedelic Science and Policy Programmes, and his collaborations with Drug Science include leading research into public attitudes on psilocybin, and contributing to its Medical Psychedelics Ethics Consortium.
