ONLINE ATTENDANCE
WHY I CAN’T ACCESS THE OPEN COMMUNITY/EVENT PLATFORM?
We exclusively send emails to the addresses provided during the purchase process. If you've purchased tickets for others, kindly forward our emails to them. If someone else has purchased tickets on your behalf, please request them to forward our emails to you.
HAVEN'T RECEIVED AN EMAIL DESPITE PURCHASING A TICKET?
Please check your spam folder.
If someone else made the purchase for you, kindly check their email and spam folder as well.
WILL THE EVENT BE STREAMED LIVE? CAN I ATTEND ONLINE?

I AM ON THE OPEN COMMUNITY PLATFORM, WHY CAN’T I ACCESS THE ICPR 2024 LIVESTREAM?
All in-person and livestream ticket holders are able to access the livestream through the links available on our event/community platform.
HOW DO I ACCESS LIVESTREAM AND WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY LIVESTREAM TICKET?
You will receive an email with a link to sign up for our community platform where you’ll be able to access the sessions live. All sessions will be recorded and made available for 3 months after the conference as part of the OPEN membership included with your livestream ticket.
WILL RECORDINGS BE AVAILABLE FOR LATER VIEWING?
Yes! This will require an OPEN Membership, a three months trial is included with all in-person and livestream ICPR tickets!
CAN I WATCH RECORDINGS FROM PREVIOUS ICPR CONFERENCES?
Yes! This is possible with the three months trial included with all in-person and livestream ICPR tickets.

PRACTICAL DETAILS
WHEN IS THE EVENT TAKING PLACE?
ICPR 2024 will take place from Thursday 6th June,2024 9am until Saturday, 8th June 6pm.
Our standalone ICPR regulation Event, as well as our pre-conference workshops will take place on Wednesday the 5th June.
WHERE IS THE EVENT LOCATED?
ICPR 2024 will be held at the prestigious Philharmonie Haarlem (30 minutes west of Amsterdam Central Station):

HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE?
You can find the Philharmonie Haarlem on Google Maps, or on our venue page.
The nearest airport is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The most sustainable option after you land, is a train to Haarlem, for which you have to transfer at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Plan your train trip on the website of the national railroad NS.
If you choose to stay in Amsterdam or another city in the Netherlands, there are ample connections to Haarlem station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Philharmonie. Taxi’s and bikes are available at the station.
Uber is available in Amsterdam and Haarlem. Shared mobility is available through Felyx, GO and ShareNow.
Travel is not included in the conference fee.

Yes! This will require an OPEN Membership, a trial of which is included with all in-person and livestream ICPR tickets!
WHAT LODGING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
Haarlem is a beautiful city and well worth a multiple day visit. It is also a slightly more economical choice when it comes to lodging compared to Amsterdam.
If you choose to lay your head in Amsterdam, please be advised that it might be convenient to choose a place close to a metro line or within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station or Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station.

WHAT IS THE WORKING LANGUAGE OF THE CONFERENCE?
The working language of the conference is English.
WHAT ARE PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS?
Pre-conference workshops are specialized sessions held on the day before the main conference begins. On Wednesday 5th June, 2024.
These workshops offer attendees a chance to delve deeper into specific subjects, often in a more interactive and hands-on environment compared to typical conference presentations.
You will need to purchase an additional ticket specifically for the workshop you wish to attend.

REGISTRATION AND FEES
WHAT ARE THE TICKET PRICES FOR ICPR 2024?
The standard ticket pricing for ICPR 2024 is as follows:
All tickets include full access to the ICPR 2024 in-person event and all recorded content as well as food and beverages, coffee, tea, fruits, snacks, water plus a healthy vegetarian, mainly organic lunch!
Professional Ticket: €1,099 (must register with your institution/organisation email)
Regular Ticket: €749
Philanthropy Ticket: €1749 (includes access to speaker’s dinner)
Student ticket: €429 (must register with your student email address)
WHAT EXACTLY IS INCLUDED IN THE LIVESTREAM TICKET?
Our livestream ticket includes virtual access to ICPR 2024 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and includes:
– Full Conference Programming – Access All Live & Recorded Content
– Access to our Event Platform & Community
– Regular OPEN Membership (FREE unlimited 3-month trial access to all recorded content, including past conferences)
– Digital Conference Goodie Bag
Livestreamed talks will be hosted via our community platform, to which you will receive access via email upon succesful registration of your livestream ticket.
WHEN DOES REGISTRATION CLOSE?
Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The earlier you purchase, the more chance you have in locking in the lowest price.
ARE GROUP RATES AVAILABLE?
Group rates are available for members of institutions and organisations. Please get in touch via our contact page.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE STUDENT TICKET?
Students currently enrolled in any official college or university are eligible for the ICPR 2024 Student Ticket. Furthermore, those who attended an official college or university within the last 12 months from the date of purchase are eligible for this deal only if they are not currently employed. You must register with your official student email address, and your proof of student status (ID card, etc.) will be checked before entering the conference. Those unable to prove student status will be charged the difference in ticket price at the door.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROFESSIONAL TICKET?
Doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists and other working professionals who are part of a (non-profit or for-profit) institution/organisation and eligible to receive full or partial reimbursement. You must register with your official institution/organisation email address.
I ONLY WANT TO ATTEND ONE DAY OF THE CONFERENCE, IS THAT POSSIBLE?
Currently tickets are only available for the full length of the conference, three days.
CAN I GET A CERTIFICATE FOR ATTENDING THIS CONFERENCE?
Yes, a certificate of participation will be made available a few days after the conference.
CAN I PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE DOOR, AT THE START OF THE CONFERENCE?
Tickets at full price will be available until the last day of the conference. There is a possibility day tickets will also be offered. More information to follow.
ARE DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE FOR CONFERENCE TICKETS?

IS SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING AVAILABLE?
Understanding that financial constraints can limit participation, we're pleased to offer two scholarship programs: the Source Foundation Travel Grant and the Open Foundation Scholarship Program.
These scholarships are designed to support attendees who demonstrate a vested interest in psychedelics but face economic barriers, covering registration, and potentially including transportation and accommodation costs. For those passionate about contributing to their work and community through the study or therapeutic application of psychedelics, for more information apply here.
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH MY REGISTRATION?
A badge and a programme will be handed when you arrive on site after we confirm your registration. Your badge will give you access to multiple stages at the Philharmonie which will host more than 60 speakers.

ARE MEALS INCLUDED WITH MY REGISTRATION?
Yes, food and beverages are included with your ticket! To ensure you’ll get the most out of your presence at the conference, we’re including meals so you don’t have to run outside for that and can stay in and connect with others over a delicious meal. Coffee, tea, fruits, snacks, water throughout the day and a healthy, vegetarian, mainly organic lunch!
WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I REGISTER?
Once you complete your purchase on this website, you will receive an email with your registration. This email contains a confirmation of your registration as well as your ticket. At the conference, once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a badge that will grant you access to the halls of the conference.
CAN SOMEONE ELSE ATTEND IN MY PLACE?
We have a no-refund policy. You can decide to transfer your ticket to someone else (at least 30 days prior to the conference) or donate your ticket to our cause and organisation. The OPEN Foundation has been a non-profit organisation since its formation in 2007, and relies on the conferences for income. Your support can help us cover losses on flights, accommodation, and other expenses.
If, due to extreme external situations the ICPR is forced to become an online event, the difference between the ticket price will be refunded to ticket holders.

HOW CAN MY ORGANISATION BECOME A CONFERENCE SPONSOR?

WILL THE CONFERENCE INCLUDE AN EXHIBIT HALL?
No. While ICPR is open to all, the conference does not facilitate commercial exhibitions and focuses on academic perspectives on psychedelic research. That said, we are offering limited exhibition opportunities to our official partners, please reach out to us via partners@open-foundation.org
GENERAL
WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PARTICIPANTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?
The Philharmonie is wheelchair accessible. We offer 50% off tickets for assistance for example helping with wheelchair. Please get in touch via our contact page.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE EVENT?
There is no dress code for the event. We ourselves wear whatever we would wear at an academic conference.
ARE THERE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR THIS EVENT?
There are! If you want to volunteer for the OPEN Foundation, please check out our options to join our team.
WILL THERE BE SOCIAL GATHERINGS OUTSIDE THE EVENT?
We’re working on this as well as an official afterparty. Details will be announced to ticket holders.
WILL THERE BE PHOTO AND VIDEO RECORDING AT THE EVENT?
ICPR attracts significant interest from journalists and filmmakers. The OPEN Foundation also shoots video and pictures of the event for educational and promotional purposes. By entering the event premises and by participation in this event, you consent to the use of your photograph, likeness, or video or audio recording in whole or in part without restriction or limitation for any educational, promotional, or any purpose for distribution online and in printed publications or publication in other media.
You release the OPEN Foundation, their employees and volunteers, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitisation, or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, or video and/or sound recordings.
We are however happy to remove your image from any digital property over which we have control upon your request.
DOES THE OPEN FOUNDATION SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
No. The OPEN Foundation keeps all personal information entered during registration confidential and secure.
